The Dakno Email Editor is a block-based workspace for creating, reviewing, saving, and scheduling client emails. You can start with a blank design or a saved template, then add the individual pieces your email needs: text, images, buttons, and more.
This overview explains what each part of the editor does and where to go next. Use the related articles when you are ready for detailed instructions on a specific task.
Understand the editor workspace
The editor has three main areas:
- Templates and Tags on the left: Choose a saved starting design or copy a merge tag to personalize your email.
- Email canvas in the center: Add, select, and arrange the blocks that make up the email.
- Global Styles and Block Options on the right: Change the overall email design or adjust the selected block.
Above the canvas, you can use some of the advanced tools:
- Edit Mode to add or change content.
- Preview Mode to review the email without editing controls.
- HTML output and JSON output to review advanced output formats.
- Desktop view and Mobile view to check the design at different widths.
Create a simple email
Go to DaknoAdmin > Lead Management > Email Marketing > Messages
Select New Email
Use the new email editor to take advantage of templates and block-based editing. The Classic Editor remains available.
Add some content to your email with a Heading, Text, Image, or Button block.
Once you're happy with your email,
Save your work for later
At anytime, you can save the current email as a draft. Select a campaign and add a subject. You can leave DaknoAdmin and come back later to continue editing.
Send a test email to yourself
Once you've saved the email as a draft, you can send a test to yourself and make sure you like how the message looks in your preferred email editor.
Schedule the email
Once you're ready to send, select Schedule. A new modal appears allowing you to finalize your choice of campaign, subject, and time to send.
